Restoration of The Expulsion of Merchants from the Temple by Hieronymus Bosch

In 2010–2013, we helped to finance the restoration of the painting The Expulsion of Merchants from the Temple, which is attributed to Hieronymus Bosch (c. 1450–1516), one of the most intriguing masters in the history of art. Bosch’s paintings are full of exciting scenes, bizarre characters and esoteric symbols inviting the viewer to discover and explore. In addition, the paintings afford visitors a glimpse into the studio of a 16th-century artist so they can become acquainted with the techniques and materials used for art at that time.
