Since 2007, we have recognised engineering students and young lecturers at TalTech with scholarships to help secure the future of the construction industry and to provide better education to future professionals.

The 2018 young researcher and lecturer scholarship was awarded to Kalle Kuusk, a senior researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at TalTech’s School of Engineering, whose main research fields are the complete renovation of residential buildings and near-zero energy buildings. That includes the technical solutions for renovation, their cost efficiency, investment needs, the indoor climate of buildings, levels of near-zero energy buildings, and so on. Engineering scholarships were awarded to Erik Teder, Mari Stepanjan and Kaarel Juurma.
