As for this project, it is planned to construct a new sports hall near the existing building, i.e. the International American School in Vilnius, and manage and adapt the territory, i.e. create a green sports ground, reconstruct the existing parking lot, arrange footpaths, playgrounds, enclosure of the territory, lighting, greenery. Footpaths are also designed in the parcel of land. Near the promenades there are arranged park benches, parterres, and two playgrounds. New outside stairs made of timber beams and park paths filled with ballast are designed in the territory. Footpaths and pavements are designed so that disabled people could freely access the main entrance to the sports hall. During the dark time of the day the territory will be lighted. Rest areas with benches will be created near the footpath. Attempts have been made to create maximum integration of environment and buildings, reduce the visual impact of the human activity connecting nature with the designed forms according to the environmental principles and the project conception. The dimensions of the hall meet the standards for sports halls established by the FIBA (the International Basketball Federation), namely 28 x15 m, minimum 8 m height. Auxiliary premises, namely landings, elevator, changing and sanitary premises, technical premises, are equipped in the underground part of the building. Total area of the hall 807.90 m². Total area of the building 1,689.50 m².
